Even when a weather app indicates temps in the 36-40°F range, the temperate on a golf course, especially at the grass tips can easily be below freezing. Clear skies, calm winds, low humidity and freezing temps usually result in frost, even at courses like Quarry Pines in Tucson, Arizona.
