During the Northwest GCSA Turfgrass Expo at the Coeur d’Alene Resort earlier this month, Superintendent Tom Walker graciously allowed us to shadow his team for the morning as they prepped the course for play. It was particularly interesting to learn more about the famous Floating Green. ⛳️ It’s a special course and they’ve got an amazing crew looking after it!

When you take a vacation to Scotland but handle social media for a company that repairs, sells and buys golf course sprinklers … a detour to the oldest golf course in the world seemed like an absolute must! It just happened that the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship was also going down at the Old Course at St. Andrews, and just like the pro & celebrity golfers, we grabbed a SportsTurf Irrigation valve “selfie” with the famous Swilcan Bridge! ⁠
