1. What is a “rebuilt sprinkler”?

A sprinkler that has been completely taken apart and rebuilt to the manufacturer’s specifications. It is tested at 3 different pressure settings and date stamped with a 1 year warranty.

2. How do I send my sprinklers and controllers to SportsTurf Irrigation for repair?

Contact the office at (800) 492-8378 and ask for a UPS® label to be faxed or emailed.

3. Who pays for shipping?

We always pay the shipping to get your sprinklers, controllers, and parts in for repair (US 48 states excluding Hawaii and Alaska).

4. Can I send my controller parts in for repair?

Yes, nearly every make and model can be repaired

5. Can I purchase spare controller parts?

Yes, everything from pedestals, transformers, surge pipes, faceplates, OSMs, and cables.

6. How does SportsTurf acquire sprinkler product?

We obtain heads through a golf course system upgrade or customers call to sell us their old or spare inventory. The sprinklers are brought into our shop and sorted and disassembled, rebuilt, and tested.

7. Can Rain Bird® cases be repaired?

The case itself, if it is broken or cracked, no, but the internal assembly, selector, tubes, and bottom valves can be repaired.

8. Can Toro® Cases be repaired?

The case itself, if it is broken or cracked, no, but the pilot valve, conversion assembly, and the bottom valve can be repaired.

9. What if I have a warranty issue?

Contact SportsTurf Irrigation to share your concern. Arrangements will be made to get your product returned and you will be issued a replacement.

10. What if I have old sprinklers and parts lying around?

You can get them repaired or let us purchase them. Cash or credit, your pick.

11. What is the turnaround time on repair?

Plan on UPS delivery from your location and 2-3 days in our shop, then UPS delivery back. During peak season and over-seed time, we get very busy, so please plan accordingly.
